A COMC Strategy That Resulted in $65 Profit (And Names I Check Regularly).

This COMC strategy might not land the obvious steals, but it surfaces overlooked value before cards get cross-listed to eBay.

This is not buying or investment advice. I’m simply reporting the data I’m seeing. Please do your own research and make your own decisions. Just because cards have increased in value up to this point, it doesn’t mean they will continue to do so.

There has been a lot of reinvigorated talk about COMC lately, which is mostly great.

I say “mostly” because I’ll always be a bit sour about the fact that after years of promoting them, they haven’t once ever reached out to me or even really responded to my requests to work together. Yet, here I am still talking about them on the regular! I’d love to know how many people I’ve referred their way.

Anyway, I digress, a bit.

For you, though, this is a great thing. The more platforms we have to source, sell, and flip, the better and COMC can be a big piece of that equation.

I’ve been flipping on COMC for years, but my strategy has evolved a tad.

I used to:

  • Search “recently added”

  • Buy the underpriced cards

  • Reprice the underpriced cards

  • Wait for a sale

It worked, and I had plenty of great flips over the years.

But there has always been a couple of things I didn’t like about the approach:

  1. Having to constantly check and refresh the listings to catch a deal

  2. Having to wait for the right buyer to come along and make a purchase

With my current strategy, I’m trying to eliminate both peeves. It’s not perfect, but I like it a bit better. I just made $65 profit following this new method, just need to find a way to turn up the volume.

Here’s how I go about it.
