Yes, more baseball—and not just the playoffs. The AFL is in full effect, which means there are more than enough headlines to be aware of and react to.

This is not buying or investment advice. I’m simply reporting the data I’m seeing. Please do your own research and make your own decisions. Just because cards have increased in value up to this point, it doesn’t mean they will continue to do so.
I’m getting all of this data from the Market Movers platform. It’s not my platform, I’m simply a user and affiliate. You’d also get 20% off of your membership forever if you wanted to continue once your trial has been completed.
Market Movers isn’t perfect; no tool is. I’ve seen instances where a graded card was being included in the raw numbers, which might cause a huge spike in value. So trust, but verify.
Don’t forget about the Arizona Fall League! Big names and prospects are playing games as we speak, and making headlines while doing so. I’ll be watching as close as possible to bring you the news and the card trends.
A relatively quick write-up, but info nonetheless. Enjoy!
1. Denzel Clarke, Athletics
'Never satisfied,' A's No. 10 prospect off to the races in Arizona Fall League
MESA, Ariz. -- Denzel Clarke features some of the best all-around tools in the Arizona Fall League, and he put several of them on display on Opening Night.
Clarke went 2-for-4, stole two bases and made a nice running catch in the right-center gap to rob Creed Willems (Orioles) of extra bases. The Athletics' No. 10 prospect also scored the game's lone run, leading off the bottom of the ninth inning with a line-drive single, swiping second base and coming home on an RBI single by Max Ferguson (Red Sox) to give the Mesa Solar Sox a 1-0 victory over the Surprise Saguaros.
Clarke has 1st Bowman Chrome cards, but no 1st Bowman autos. He does have ink in 2022 Bowman Chrome, though:
2. Andrew Painter, Phillies
Phils top pitching prospect Painter takes big step toward 2025 rotation
The Phillies think Andrew Painter will be a candidate at some point. The 21-year-old is Philadelphia’s No. 1 pitching prospect and the No. 32 prospect in baseball, according to MLB Pipeline. He has not pitched in a game since Spring Training 2023 because of a right elbow injury that required Tommy John surgery in July 2023. But Painter has fared well in his rehab, and he will fly to Arizona on Tuesday to join the Glendale Desert Dogs in the Arizona Fall League.
Painter is scheduled to pitch two innings in a start on Saturday, and the Phillies hope he pitches 20 innings by the end of the AFL season, building up to three innings per start.
Not sure why Market Movers doesn’t have info on his base or refractor autos, but here is his 2021 Bowman Draft RayWave Refractor Auto ($800+ in July!)
