This is not buying or investment advice. I’m simply reporting the data I’m seeing. Please do your own research and make your own decisions. Just because cards have increased in value up to this point, it doesn’t mean they will continue to do so.

I’m getting all of this data from either the Market Movers or Card Hedge platform. These are not my platforms, I’m simply a user and affiliate of them. If you want to do your own research, you can grab a free trial to Market Movers with code BALLCARDGENIUS. You’d also get 20% off of your membership forever if you wanted to continue once your trial has been completed. You can also grab a free trial for Card Hedge as well.

These tools aren’t perfect; no tool is. I’ve seen instances where a graded card was being included in the raw numbers, which might cause a misleading spike in value. So trust, but verify.

Just a reminder on how I put these lists together:

I use Market Movers to look for 7-day data trends, filtering for cards that have sold for more than 5 or 6 times over those 7 days with an average sales price of $5 or more. I’ve found that this gives me a decent idea of which cards not only have gone up in value, but aren’t a one-time sale that’s skewing the results. That said, it’s not perfect, and I still see things like this:

That is, where a card shoots up in value, but does so in only one single sale. In those cases, there is usually an error between Market Movers and eBay, where the card being tracked isn’t the card being sold. In this case, it was a /25 auto that sold for $13.50, but was being attributed to the case chrome version.

There are other anomalies to look out for, but that’s a good start if you’re trying to look things up on your own. Either way, I’m here for your questions.

If you’d rather me keep passing along the info, I’ve got you covered. Here are 6 names to watch as we head into the weekend.

1. Émilien Pitre, Rays High-A

10 sales in a day is abnormal. Of course, you could always have a seller or group of sellers have the card ending at auction on the same day, in which case the card would sell, hot or not. But from my count, 3 of the sales ended at auction and 7 went the way of Buy It Now.

Here is the breakdown of sales between the two methods:

Auction

  • 10 bids, $8.50

  • 2 bids, $1.50

  • 8 bids, $9.89

Buy It Now

  • $6.50

  • $12.99 (Best Offer)

  • $11 (Best Offer)

  • $8 (Best Offer)

  • $12.50 (Best Offer)

  • $9.99 (Best Offer)

  • $5 (Best Offer)

Pitre is the Rays’ #22 prospect, hitting .281 with 7 homers and 49 RBI.

Lowest-priced 1st Bowman Chrome auto on eBay as BIN is about $11 shipped.

Recent Sales:

  • 7/10/2025 10 sales, $8.59 average

  • 7/9/2025 6 sales, $9.87 average

  • 7/8/2025 4 sales, $7.10 average
