This is not buying or investment advice. I’m simply reporting the data I’m seeing. Please do your own research and make your own decisions. Just because cards have increased in value up to this point, it doesn’t mean they will continue to do so.

I’m getting all of this data from either the Market Movers or Card Hedge platform. These are not my platforms, I’m simply a user and affiliate of them. If you want to do your own research, you can grab a free trial to Market Movers with code BALLCARDGENIUS. You’d also get 20% off of your membership forever if you wanted to continue once your trial has been completed. You can also grab a free trial for Card Hedge as well.

These tools aren’t perfect; no tool is. I’ve seen instances where a graded card was being included in the raw numbers, which might cause a misleading spike in value. So trust, but verify.

You know the drill by now—every week/weekend brings fresh opportunities in the card flipping world, and today is no exception. From power hitters to performing pitchers, these names are starting to percolate.

Let’s dive into the stats and sales that show why these players should at least be on your radar…

1. Esmerlyn Valdez, Pirates High-A

The big bopper, and one of the prospects I’m most excited about from a flipping perspective given how cheap his cards were when we first started talking about it.

Valdez now has 19 HOMERS - tied for first in all of minor league baseball with a handful of others - and is batting .307.

Lowest-priced BIN option on eBay for his 1st Bowman Chrome auto is about $46 shipped.

Recent Sales:

  • 6/26/2025 3 sales, $28.33 average

  • 6/25/2025 6 sales, $32.11 average

  • 6/24/2025 3 sales, $24.33 average

2. Wenceel Perez, Tigers

The only major leaguer on today’s list and thus the oldest at 25. But, Wenceel Perez is very much a standout threat in a very deep Tigers lineup.

He’s batting .291 with 6 homers, and while “only 6” might not seem like a ton of power, 5 of them have come in June. Not to mention that Perez only has 86 at-bats all season. He doesn’t qualify, but his 14.33 AB/HR would be good enough for 27th in all of baseball by my research, ahead of Juan Soto, Junior Caminero, and many others.

Lowest-priced BIN option on eBay for his Topps Chrome auto is about $13 shipped.

Recent Sales:

  • 6/25/2025 7 sales, $13.07 average

  • 6/24/2025 9 sales, $11.99 average

  • 6/23/2025 1 sale, $8.00
