These tools aren’t perfect; no tool is. I’ve seen instances where a graded card was being included in the raw numbers, which might cause a misleading spike in value. So trust, but verify.

The deadline came, the deadline went, and now the charts are doing the talking. Most of the cards in this issue jumped because a player switched uniforms this week. A new team means new eyes, new fan bases, and a fresh set of “what if” stories.

1. Emilien Pitre, New York Mets Prospect

Pitre’s 2025 Bowman #CPA-EPI Chrome Prospect Auto (1st) is up 118% over 30 days, with the last sale at $10.89 on 8/3 against an $8.84 average.

Pitre was sent from Tampa Bay to the Mets as part of the three-prospect package for starter Freddy Peralta. He’d just been promoted to Double-A, where he was hitting .323/.451/.492 over 163 plate appearances before the trade, and he closed out his time in the Rays system by going 2-for-4 with two walks to raise his average to .323 in his final game. 2. Kash Mayfield, Detroit Tigers Prospect

While the Tigers traded away the lefty face of the franchise, they brought in another southpaw that they can only hope finds the same success.

Mayfield’s 2024 Bowman Draft #CPA-KM Chrome Prospect Auto (1st) is up 115% over 30 days, with the last sale at $28.00 on 8/4 against a $19.61 average.

In one of the buzzer-beater deals of deadline day, the Padres traded top prospects Kash Mayfield and Jackson Wolf to the Tigers for pitcher Casey Mize and infielder Gage Workman. Mayfield was San Diego’s No. 2 prospect and had just represented the organization at the Futures Game [Source]
