This is not buying or investment advice. I’m simply reporting the data I’m seeing. Please do your own research and make your own decisions. Just because cards have increased in value up to this point, it doesn’t mean they will continue to do so.
I’m getting all of this data from either the Market Movers or Card Hedge platform. These are not my platforms, I’m simply a user and affiliate of them. If you want to do your own research, you can grab a free trial to Market Movers with code BALLCARDGENIUS. You’d also get 20% off of your membership forever if you wanted to continue once your trial has been completed. You can also grab a free trial for Card Hedge as well.
These tools aren’t perfect; no tool is. I’ve seen instances where a graded card was being included in the raw numbers, which might cause a misleading spike in value. So trust, but verify.
Midweek doesn’t mean slowdown—not when the box scores keep rolling in and sales data keeps shifting. Today’s list has a little bit of everything: a rising Dodger turning heads, a teenage catcher with a six-RBI day, and even a 26-year-old longball machine with dirt-cheap 1st Bowman Chrome autos.
1. Andy Pages, Dodgers
Shout out to TripleJ for not letting me forget about Andy Pages. If you’re not a paid subscriber and want to truly keep up to date on the hottest performances, a lot of good information is exchanged via chat.
Anyway, Pages does have that grit, and is really coming into his own. Still only 24, Pages is now hitting .293 with 15 homers and 49 RBI.
Another thing to keep in mind, when you’re searching for cards on CollX, “auto” might not always bring up all of the autos. I suggest searching by serial, too…I found this Pages Prizm Auto /25 last night:
Hopefully he stays hot enough to match the last $68 comp.
While we are at it, don’t forget about my Card Search Engine, or at least do some Google searches. I used the engine last night to grab this:
Lowest-priced 1st Bowman Chrome auto on eBay as BIN is about $104 shipped.
