This is not buying or investment advice. I’m simply reporting the data I’m seeing. Please do your own research and make your own decisions. Just because cards have increased in value up to this point, it doesn’t mean they will continue to do so.

I’m getting all of this data from either the Market Movers or Card Hedge platform. These are not my platforms, I’m simply a user and affiliate of them. If you want to do your own research, you can grab a free trial to Market Movers with code BALLCARDGENIUS. You’d also get 20% off of your membership forever if you wanted to continue once your trial has been completed. You can also grab a free trial for Card Hedge as well.

These tools aren’t perfect; no tool is. I’ve seen instances where a graded card was being included in the raw numbers, which might cause a misleading spike in value. So trust, but verify.

Forget the rankings. Forget the hype. The hobby doesn’t always wait for Baseball America to tell it who’s next. Sometimes, it’s the quiet six-homer month. The 63 bags in 63 games. The double-A debut that turns into a punchout parade. These guys are just producing in their own ways—and the card market is starting to notice.

1. Chase Harlan, Dodgers Rookie Ball

I don’t see any headlines, but I can understand why Harlan’s card stock might be rising. While hitting a respectable .288 over 52 at-bats in May, Harlan failed to put the ball out of the ballpark. June, though, was a completely different story, with Harlan not only hitting better (.311) but powering up for 6 long balls.

The 12 sales of his 2024 Bowman Chrome auto on 6/29 were just as eye-opening.

Lowest-priced 1st Bowman Chrome auto listed as BIN on eBay is about $31 shipped.

Recent Sales:

  • 7/1/2025 1 sale, $24.01

  • 6/30/2025 3 sales, $22.00 average

  • 6/29/2025 12 sales, $20.79 average1.
