I bought an CSG 9 Ken Griffey Jr. 1989 UD RC for $125, cracked it, graded with PSA as a 9 and sold for $240. Well, guess what—I was told it was always a 10, and it's now at auction for thousands.
They replied saying "I was able to speak with leadership and received an update the card was re-submitted through our review service and subsequently received an upgraded grade. This is why our system now reflects the current grade of PSA 10 on your order page." Still doesn't sit right, but I'm not sure what else I can do. I have is their word and that has changed a few times now.
They saw that you didn’t receive the card back. They saw that they were the ones that handled the auction They saw the listing they posted it for. This is irresponsible on their end.
No clear explanation and there own product not working correctly. I mean this isn’t right for you. Sorry for you on this!

I'm now being told it was in fact a 9 for me that was regraded by the buyer. Super frustrating process.
This makes me wonder if it’s worth cracking an SGC 8.5 and sending it in to PSA to see if they’ll regrade higher.. could be a worthwhile flip?
